Diagnostics are the tools we use to answer the question, "What's really going on?" when your animal is not quite right. Instead of guessing, we use testing to guide smart, targeted treatment.
Depending on your dog or cat's needs, this may include in-house bloodwork, urine testing, fecal checks for parasites, cytology for ears and skin, or sending samples to a reference lab for more advanced panels. When we suspect injuries, heart disease, or internal problems, we may pair lab work with radiographs for a fuller picture.
Diagnostics are just as useful for preventive care as they are for sick visits. Screening tests can uncover early kidney disease, diabetes, thyroid issues, or tick-borne illness before your pet is obviously ill. Catching these problems early often means simpler treatment and a better long-term outcome.
We explain each recommended test, what it costs, and how the results will change our plan. When results come in, we call you promptly and go over them in everyday language so you know exactly what we found and what happens next.
